Aprotinin Inhibits Protease-Dependent Platelet Aggregation and Thrombosis

While providing hemostatic effects, aprotinin attenuates vascular thrombosis in part by inhibition of PAR activation, resulting in the prevention of thrombin-induced platelet aggregation.
