آشنایی با موضوع

حالت گذار Transition state یک صورت‌بندی خاص در مسیر یک واکنش شیمیایی است که دارای بیشینه انرژی پتانسیل در آن مسیر واکنش باشد. در حالت گذار معمولاً، حدواسط تشکیل می‌گردد که چون بسیار ناپایدار است به فرآورده تبدیل می‌شود. در حالت گذار انرژی فعال‌سازی به بیشینه مقدار خود می‌رسد و از آن پس، انرژی فعالسازی رو به کاهش می‌رود. حالت گذار را با ‡ نشان می‌دهند. رسیدن به حالت گذار، انرژی زیادی لازم دارد؛ بنابراین این حالت، ماده‌ای با انرژی زیاد به وجود می‌آید. این افزایش در انرژی پتانسیل با سد پتانسیلی متناظر است که اگر واکنش به پیش رود، مولکول‌‌های واکنش‌دهنده باید از آن عبور کنند. ظریه حالت گذار نظریه ای در سینتیک شیمیایی است که چگونگی انجام یک واکنش شیمیایی بین مواد واکنش دهنده و تولید فرآورده را توصیف می کند. در این نظریه مفهومی فرضی به نام حد واسط یا کمپلکس فعال معرفی می‌شود که عبارت است از ماده ای با سطح انرژی بالا که در آن پیوند های مواد واکنش دهنده در حال سست شدن و پیوند های مواد فرآورده در حال تشکیل است. با استفاده از نمودار مربوط به این تئوری می توان مقدار انرژی فعال سازی واکنش، آنتالپی واکنش و نوع واکنش را تشخیص داد. این نظریه توسط احمدزویل شیمیدان مسلمان مصری در سال1999 عنوان شد که به این علت موفق به دریافت جایزه نوبل شیمی گردید.
