The diffusion of dust in a fully-mechanized mining face with a mining height of 7 m and the application of wet dust-collecting nets

The physical model of fully-mechanized mining face with mining height of 7 m was established. The airflow-dust CFD-DPM coupling model was established. The migration laws of airflow field were obtained. The pollution and diffusion laws of dusts were obtained based on airflow-dust coupling model. The field measurement was carried out and the airflow velocities and dust concentrations were field verified. Based on above research the system of wet dust-collecting nets were designed and its dust reduction efficiency was verified.260
