The clinicopathological significance of SIRT1 expression in colon cancer: An immunohistochemical study and meta-analysis

In our retrospective study, high SIRT1 expression significantly correlated with vascular invasion and a worse prognosis. However, because the results from the meta-analysis differed the retrospective arm of our study, additional cumulative studies are needed to determine the prognostic value of SIRT1 in CRC.
