Czy jest miejsce w pediatrii dla leków antyhistaminowych I generacji?

The first generation antihistamines because of the numerous side effects associated with the lack of selective histamine receptor interaction and the ability to penetrate the central nervous system in the treatment of allergic diseases have been replaced by a newer generation of drugs without these actions. In Poland, but also in many other countries the first generation antihistamines are still used in the treatment of vomiting and coughing. The paper presents the characteristics of the most commonly used the first generation antihistamines and the current indications for use of this drug in children.
