A dynamic reduced order model for simulating entrained flow gasifiers

► Part 1 describes a dynamic reduced order model for entrained flow gasifiers. ► Model has been built and run in Aspen Custom Modeler simulation package. ► Reactor network model is used to simplify fluid flow for efficient solution. ► Model includes submodels for most important phenomena in gasification. ► Part 2 presents results of successful model validation and sensitivity analysis.
