Preparation of biofuel from argemone seed oil by an alternative cost-effective technique

► Conversion of toxic argemone oil to biodiesel. ► An alternative cheap and rapid method of treatment to obtain comparable quality biofuel additive (RAO). ► 10% blending of RAO with commercial petroleum diesel (PD) was the optimum treatment to increase efficiency of diesel engine. ► This proportion of RAO and PD mixture also reduced the emission of greenhouse gases. (CO, CO2, NOx etc.)
