Effect of adding mineral additives to alkali-activated natural pozzolan paste

► The concept of adding mineral additive to enhance the properties of geopolymer cement is presented. ► Gel phase composition was determined in alkali-activated natural pozzolan pastes by EDX. ► It was shown that deficiencies in SiO2, Al2O3 and CaO content in natural pozzolan can be compensated.
