Injury-proneness of youth with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder: A national clinical data analysis in Taiwan

► ADHD had 2- and 5-fold higher risk of specific and overall injuries, respectively. ► Male, physical illnesses, anxiolytic/hypnotics, antidepressants, and antipsychotics also predicted injury. ► However, use of methylphenidate, ODD, and CD did not predict injuries. ► The presence of physical illness moderated the pathway from ADHD to injuries.
