Everyday memory in children with developmental coordination disorder

► We used the Rivermead Behavioral Memory Test for Children to investigate everyday memory performance in children with DCD. ► 52.6% of the children with DCD showed everyday memory deficits. ► Everyday memory of children with DCD was impaired primarily in the verbal and visual memory domains. ► Everyday memory deficits of children with DCD were fully mediated by verbal intelligence. ► Identifying the memory difficulties of children with DCD in activities of daily living should be emphasized in clinical settings.
