Motor skills of children newly diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder prior to and following treatment with stimulant medication

► Children newly diagnosed with ADHD were evaluated before and after use of stimulant. ► Motor difficulties were highly present in the sample at baseline. ► Motor difficulties appear to be related to attentional difficulties in a subset. ► However, motor difficulties persisted in more than half of the children treated.
