Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and eating disorders: Is there a relation? Results of a cross-sectional study

► We found a lower prevalence of eating disorders in scoliotic patients than in normal controls. ► Scoliosis or its treatment seems protective with respect of eating disorders. ► The low BMI typical of scoliosis patients is confirmed by our data.
