Visual working memory in deaf children with diverse communication modes: Improvement by differential outcomes

► We assess visual working memory in deaf children with different communication modes. ► The task is tested in differential outcome and non-differential outcome conditions. ► Deaf employing spoken Spanish or Spanish Sign Language show a poor performance. ► Differential outcomes improve visual working memory in deaf and hearing children.
