Arithmetic performance of children with cerebral palsy: The influence of cognitive and motor factors

► Children with cerebral palsy (CP) often show difficulties in arithmetic performance. ► We explored which cognitive and motor variables are related to arithmetic. ► 116 primary school children with a formal diagnosis of CP participated. ► In the cognitive model, word decoding and non-verbal intelligence were associated. ► In the combined model, word decoding and fine motor skills were related to arithmetic.
