High antibacterial efficiency of pDMAEMA modified silicon nanowire arrays

▶ Poly(2-(dimethylamino ethyl) methacrylate) (pDMAEMA) was graft polymerized on silicon nanowire arrays (SiNWAs) by ATRP. ▶ High capacity for bacterial adhesion and High bactericidal activity. ▶ Almost all bacteria were killed after incubation with the quaternized SiNWAs-pDMAEMA.
