Investigation on production and characterization of bionanocomposites based on surface functionalized multi-walled carbon nanotubes and optically active poly(ester-imide) having L-isoleucine units

- PEI/MWCNT BNCs were fabricated via ultrasonic technique.
- Microstructure and thermal properties of BNCs were studied.
- The homogeneous dispersion of MWCNT in PEI matrix was revealed by FE-SEM and TEM.
- Enhanced thermal stability was achieved for BNCs as compared to the pure PEI.
