Styrenation of mahaleb and anchovy oils

Mahaleb and anchovy oils were styrenated by solvent method in the presence of peroxide catalyst. In order to prevent homopolymer formation, anthraquinone was used in the preparation of anchovy oil-based sample. Viscosity and film properties of the products were determined and compared with each other. As a result of the study, it was found that some products could be prepared for using as a surface coating material.
