Nanotechnology in reproductive medicine: Emerging applications of nanomaterials

Reproductive biomedicine is just one example of a discipline in which the use of nanotechnology is gradually expanding. In this review, we summarise available evidence regarding the current applications of nanomaterials to investigate, diagnose and treat reproductive pathology. We also present the strengths and concerns associated with the use of nanotechnology in a clinical setting and as a research tool to investigate the mechanisms of reproduction.138
