Getting mad and getting even: Agreeableness and Honesty-Humility as predictors of revenge intentions

► We study HEXACO Agreeableness (A), Honesty-Humility (H), and revenge reactions. ► H shows a stronger link to target-specific revenge than to Displaced Aggression. ► H shows a stronger link to planned revenge than to immediate retaliation. ► In contrast, A shows similar relations with both kinds of acts.
