Written exposure as an intervention for PTSD: A randomized clinical trial with motor vehicle accident survivors

► A brief, written exposure treatment for PTSD was studied. ► 46 participants with a primary diagnosis of PTSD were examined. ► Treatment resulted in significant reductions in PTSD symptoms. ► Treatment gains were maintained at the 6 month follow-up assessment.
