Psychometric properties of the Dutch version of the Meta-Cognitions Questionnaire-Adolescent Version (MCQ-A) in non-clinical adolescents and adolescents with obsessive-compulsive disorder

► The 5-factor structure of the MCQ-A was supported. ► Internal consistency was fair to good and in general retest reliability was good. ► The OCD sample reported more MC beliefs than a non-clinical sample, except for CC. ► UD, SPR and CSC were related to self-reported OCD symptoms, but not to OCD severity. ► MC beliefs were also related to anxiety and depression.
