Utilización de los sistemas de FM en el contexto escolar
چکیده انگلیسی
Classrooms have three characteristics that make perception of the acoustic signal a difficult issue: background noise, reverberation and distance between speaker and listener. Normal hearing children need a more favorable signal to noise ratio in order to achieve same levels of speech perception than adults. Hearing impaired children still experiment greater disadvantages. FM systems are the best solution to improve the signal to noise ratio, in despite of this, their use in educational settings by children with hearing aids and cochlear implants is not enough extended. This article means to do a revision of the acoustic conditions needed to learning through the auditory channel as well as an introduction to the present technology of FM systems and their benefits.
