Social inferences from faces: Ambient images generate a three-dimensional model

► We investigate first impressions from faces using a highly variable sample of 1000 face images. ► First impressions are shown to be consistent even when based on this highly variable face sample. ► We find that three dimensions subserve these first impressions, extending previous models.
