Line bisection error predicts the presence and severity of neglect dyslexia in paragraph reading

► Neglect patients often omit or misread initial letters of single words, termed neglect dyslexia (ND). ► The contralesional line bisection error predicts the severity of ND. ► However, performance in a cancellation task does not correlate with ND-severity. ► The results indicate two different pathological mechanisms for these disturbances.
