Hemispheric inference priming during comprehension of conversations and narratives

► We test hemispheric priming for naming words related to inferences in conversation and narrative. ► Both hemispheres showed inference-related priming during narrative comprehension. ► Only right hemisphere showed inference-related priming during conversation comprehension. ► Conversational stimuli can be used to obtain reliable data in language comprehension research.
