Shape and color conjunction stimuli are represented as bound objects in visual working memory

► We increased the object's complexity by adding a color feature to it. ► By tracking the CDA, we monitored WM capacity allocation. ► The CDA corresponded to the number of objects regardless of object's complexity. ► This trend was found for complex objects and for color-color conjunction stimuli. ► The results support the integrated object view of WM.
