Personality is differentially associated with planned and non-planned pregnancies

► Previous studies have associated personality traits with fertility behaviour. ► More than one third of pregnancies are non-planned. ► We demonstrate that personality is differently associated with planned vs. non-planned pregnancies. ► Personality may be especially important to fertility differences due to differences in the rates of non-planned pregnancies.
