Correlations equalities and some upper bounds for the critical temperature for spin one systems

► We obtain rigorous upper bounds for the critical temperature in Blume-Capel model. ► Exact identities for correlation functions for S=1 Blume-Capel model are obtained. ► Numerical results are obtained using rigorous inequalities. ► The obtained results improve over effective field type results.
