Magnetic properties of a mixed spin-1 and spin-2 Heisenberg ferrimagnetic system: Green's function study

► We studied the magnetic properties of a mixed spin Heisenberg ferrimagnetic system. ► We have studied on a two-dimensional square lattice. ► We used the double-time temperature-dependent Green's function technique. ► We determined the conditions on which critical and compensation temperature appear. ► We found that there exist phase transitions under the magnetic field.
