Effects of the turnover rate on the size distribution of firms: An application of the kinetic exchange models

► We model firm dynamics and related statistics. ► The modeling tool is borrowed from the literature on the kinetic exchange models. ► We present some exact distributional results. ► It is shown that the firm size distribution and the related statistics could be captured qualitatively in this framework.
