Empirical analysis of online human dynamics

► We analyzed six large-scale real online systems on human dynamics. ► The user's actions, activity, and interevent time follow heavy-tailed distributions. ► There exists a strongly positive correlation between activity and actions. ► There exists a negative correlation between activity and interevent time distribution. ► The rescaling method is not always useful, yet it depends on the data sets.
