SPR-based Markov chain method for degree distributions of evolving networks

► Stochastic process rules (SPR) of evolving networks are introduced. ► SPR keep the sample space of degree distribution unchanged. ► We develop an SPR-based Markov chain method to calculate the degree distributions. ► The degree distributions of random birth-and-death networks are calculated.
