Scaling relation and regime map of explosive gas-liquid flow of binary Lennard-Jones particle system

► Explosive gas-liquid flows of a binary Lennard-Jones particle system have been studied. ► The explosive flows are caused in a system similar to a model of a shock tube. ► The regime map of the explosive flow is presented. ► A scaling relation of physical quantities measured along the tube is observed. ► Breaking of the scaling relation implies the limit of physics of equilibrium systems.
