Bose-Einstein condensation of a q-deformed boson system in a harmonic potential trap

► We explore BEC of a q boson system with finite particle number in a harmonic trap. ► We obtain the expressions of the critical temperature and so on of a q boson system. ► It is shown that BEC of such a system has some particular and interesting features. ► This work may provide insight into the theory of q-deformed bosons.
