Power spectrum and Fisher-Shannon information plane analysis of tidal records

► Tidal signals measured in Bahia Blanca Estuary (Argentina) are analyzed. ► Diurnal, semi-diurnal and higher frequency cycles are identified. ► Scaling and white-noise dynamical regimes were detected. ► The Fisher-Shannon method allowed to discriminate the complexity of the tidal signals.
