Atmospheric stability of surface boundary layer in coastal region of the Wol-Ryong site

► We study the atmospheric wind environment based on a statistical approach. ► The wind energy was estimated based on the climate and surface conditions. ► Surface roughness change was significant with the wind direction at the site. ► This methods were suggested to calculate the surface roughness length. ► This estimation sufficiently shows the effect of obstacles and surface conditions.
