Multifractal analyses of row sum signals of elementary cellular automata

► Two pairs of complementary ECA rules are used to compare three scaling methods. ► Extended initial conditions for the ECA row sum signals are used. ► The scaling method that performs better is indicated for each of the main scaling parameters.
