Punctuated equilibrium and power law in economic dynamics

► This work is on a simple model based on Schumpeterian Economic Dynamics. ► The time series from computer simulation shows punctuated equilibrium. ► We introduce the concept of feedback in this model. ► Power law emerges in waiting time distribution and the dynamics behaves as an SOC type.
