The Lyapunov spectrum as the Newton method

► We establish a relation between multifractal analysis theory and numerical analysis. ► We prove that the Lyapunov spectrum can be written as the function involved in the Newton-Raphson method. ► The techniques used come from the theory of thermodynamic formalism.
