Scaling analysis of the effects of load on hand tremor movements in essential tremor

► Hand tremor movements in ET have been recorded, with and without wrist-cuff load. ► Wavelet Transform and DFA analyses were used. ► Time series of the first three tremor frequency components have been analyzed. ► Scaling exponents of the main spectral component change after addition of load. ► Wavelet Transform and DFA functions display a shift in crossover after addition of load.
