Canonical equilibrium distribution derived from Helmholtz potential

► We examine the probability distribution using thermodynamic potentials. ► This is a novel direction for obtaining stationary distributions without using an entropy maximization procedure. ► Using this novel direction, we obtain the exact stationary equilibrium distributions for BG and Tsallis entropies.
