Benford's law and Theil transform of financial data

► For the first time, finances of a sect are scientifically analyzed along Benford's law. ► The present report concerns the Belgian Antoinist religious sect yearly income and expenses. ► These financial reports are also nonlinearly remapped through a so-called Theil [x⋅log(x)] transformation. ► The data is then reanalyzed along the Benford's law scheme. Bizarre features are seen. ► An imperfect Benford law-like form suited for anomalous distributions is presented.
