Feedback between node and network dynamics can produce real-world network properties

► We propose a model for the feedback between the content of nodes and the structure of networks. ► This model is plausible, since it is compatible with many real-world network properties. ► A similar feedback is observed in the Live-Journal blog network. ► Realistic properties occur only when there is an imbalance between positive and negative edges.
