Cross-functional education: the need for case development

By the turn of the century, it had become increasingly evident that business schools needed to become more cross-functionally oriented. However, there is a dearth of commentary on how to develop and implement truly cross-functional academic programs. With case analysis as one of the most popular pedagogical tools in business schools, it is suggested that the development of cross-functional cases will aid in the development and implementation of cross-functional curriculums.
