Release kinetics of ethylene gas from ethylene-α-cyclodextrin inclusion complexes

► Release of ethylene gas from ethylene gas-α-cyclodextrin complexes was investigated. ► The release fits well with Avrami's equation model. ► Ethylene release increased with increasing relative humidity and temperature.
