Assessment of concentrations of toxic elements in aquaculture food products in Malaysia

► Assessment of As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Hg, Pb, and Zn of aquaculture food products in Malaysia. ► Muscle and liver specimens were tested on the collected species. ► Regional comparison in African catfish, seabass, tiger prawn and tilapia were done. ► Comparative studies in sea bass from each of the sites collected were done. ► The concentrations in the muscle specimens were not hazardous to human health.
