High-efficiency host free deep-blue organic light-emitting diode with double carrier regulating layers

► A deep-blue OLED by incorporating two carrier regulating layers is proposed. ► Host-free deep-blue OLED was fabricated with a 4.6% EQE at 1000 nits. ► Deeper and brighter blue emission was obtained with the incorporation of two CRLs.
