Power law behavior of magnetoresistance in tris(8-hydroxyquinolinato)aluminum-based organic light-emitting diodes

► We examined long-term current drift and dielectric relaxation in Alq3. ► A new measurement scheme for organic magnetoresistance was proposed. ► The scheme enables measuring the magnetoresistance accurately at low magnetic fields. ► The magnetoresistance of Alq3 measured by the scheme shows a power law behavior. ► The magnetoresistance of Alq3 was observable only above the threshold voltage.
