Wavelength sensitive photodiodes in the visible based on J-type aggregated films patterned by inkjet method

► Disposable organic photodiodes in the visible based on J-aggregated cyanine dyes. ► Organic photodiodes fabricated by a drop-on demand inkjet method. ► Wavelength resolution around the absorption peak of J-aggregates is observed. ► A sharp decrease and reverse open-circuit voltage at the absorption peak. ► Disposable and miniaturized photodiodes may be integrated onto flow-cytometry chips.
