Electroluminescence enhancement of the phosphor dispersed in a polymer matrix using the tandem structure

► Tandem structured electroluminescence (EL) devices were fabricated. ► The adoption of a spin-coating method can allow simple fabrication process. ► The EL device for triple emitting layer exhibited 1460 cd/m2 at voltage of 50 V. ► This structure can increase in the chance of electron-hole tunneling to the phosphor. ► Also, tandem structure combines the light emission from several emitting layers.
